Stefania Palace Cultural Center

Stefánia Palace - Honvéd, is located in the most elegant and prosperous part of Budapest, Hungary, next to the city park in the 14th district. At the beginning of the 19th century, it was a palace that served the privileged classes such as royalty and nobility.

Queen Elizabeth of England, Emperor Franz Josef of Austria and Hungary, Emperor Wilhelm of Germany, King Alfonso of Spain, King Mozavdin of Persia and Grand Duke Michael of Russia visited and held foreign events here.

During the Hungarian Presidency of the European Union in 2011, an important EU conference was held in the Stefania Palace Cultural Center.

The main task of the Stefania Palace Cultural Center is to host major events, but it is also one of the most popular places for exhibitions, conferences and social representations in the capital.
